Snowshoeing and Walking, How Snow-Sure Is the Pragser Wildsee?
Do not be surprised if you do not see any water. The lake is there, hidden under a thick layer of ice. There is a lot of snow at the Pragser Wildsee. The real winter is here. You can escape the cold by enjoying the historic rooms and the original furnished lounges at Hotel Pragser Wildsee. You can listen to the silence of nature in the evening and morning, or you can brave the cold with sports. Cross-country walking, snowshoeing, tobogganing, cross-country skiing - take your pick. A cross-country trail starts right at the hotel. You can strap on your snowshoes in your room. A ski tour also leads you to the Ski Pustertal Express, which takes you from the Three Peaks Dolomites ski area to the Kronplatz ski carousel every half hour, lasting only 35 minutes. Our hotel is located off the beaten track, but public bus connections transport you reliably to the ski regions Kronplatz/Reischach, Haunold/Innichen, Helm/Sexten and back.
